Threw together this flippable mushroom card demo last night!

It is based on the same interface as the search result items from the search engine demo I worked on last month, so I will soon be able to generate a trading card for every known species on earth!

propaganda we're not falling for:
- there's no nature in cities/urban areas
- we already know everything about plants & animals
- nature photography requires expensive camera equipment
- you need a degree to contribute to science
- you need to travel far to see interesting species

#atproto devs! Over last weekend there was a lot of questions about best practices with Lexicon

There's plenty more documentation to be written, but I thought I'd share some initial guidance to help clarify how I think about it
Guidance on Authoring Lexicons
At last weekend's Atmosphere Conference, there were a lot of questions about how author Lexicons. I thought it would be a good idea to share some guidance.

The postal service has not "long struggled with its finances".
The USPS has long struggled with Republicans putting ridiculous financial requirements on it, and more recently dickhead DeJoy's sabotage. Also it struggles with biased media hit jobs like this paywalled drivel.

No, Mr. President, you cannot illegally arrest and detain legal US residents because of their political views or opinions.

In America, we have a little something called the First Amendment.

Throwing protesters in jail is yet another step on the path to authoritarianism.
