Ed Zitron’s skepticism about the supposed genius of AI is an important corrective, I think, especially considering how tech stocks are driving the stock market. This is long, so if it’s too much, read the skeptical beginning and the end, which suggests alternative approaches.
Ed Zitron said that AI agents start to break down when "given multi-step tasks." I don't know what they are, but let's say I want it to 1) download student papers from Moodle, 2) unzip them into a folder, 3) convert files into PDF if necessary. Would that work?
