It’s absolutely insane to me how often I see mainstream news publications letting this shit go unchecked.

One of the often-spoken rules of being a news writer/editor is getting rid of cliches, shorthand and scientific jargon. I'd argue that in the modern era, this NEEDS to include not using euphemisms and politicized language like "DEI" and "woke" to sit in headlines/teasers without additional context.
