I've tried chocolate and pumpkin spice filings. But I've seen all kinds. I think it's usually a thicker consistency custard or ganache style filling, but those could just be the ones I've experienced. Guswara sounds delightful!

It's a pastry from Brittany, which is a Celtic region of France. Kouign Amann is pronounced "queen uh-mon". My husband and I discovered them in San Francisco and we've been obsessed ever since!

They're a laminated dough like a croissant, but there's sugar in between the layers with the butter. Then they stick it in a muffin tin so it's a cute little blossom and put a little blob of filling in the middle! Layered, crispy, sweet.

I'm in the House of Kouign Amann, but the more American style (sometimes called a Kouignette) because those usually have a filling.

Of course, it's even MORE frustrating when you get through the first box and buy a second only to have the fixation grind to a halt and now you have a mostly full box of cereal to stare at in your pantry, hoping it's still good by the time the pendulum swings back.

I haven't read the Stormlight Archive yet, but from what I hear it's VERY different from Mistborn.

I finally read that whole series last year and I'm honestly shocked that there aren't more people loudly obsessed with these books! They are SO GOOD.

Plus my insurance website (like so many others) doesn't have an accurate OR up to date list of providers that are covered by my company. The last time I went looking we called their call center (in India, inevitably) and still was sent an outdated list. 3/

I would need a woman therapist with experience (and patience for) my intertwined neurodivergencies (ADHD, Autism, probably CPTSD) that doesn't push CBT. I don't even know where to begin looking for someone like that. 2/
