the goal of these companies is to commoditize your entire life via transactions w them. they want to charge you for access to entertainment, socializing, memories, work, third spaces, and now, your friends. they want to be walled self-sufficient rentier economies where life itself is tenancy & labor

I also find it moving that Francis lived through Good Friday and Easter Sunday. His last public act was to bless the people. What a burden to let go.
