Hey, @osullyville.bsky.social how faithfully did Ralph bakshi portray the mafia in 1975's animated classic "Coonskin"? Did many crime bosses have minion clowns?
The Godfather as depicted in the animated film Coonskin. He's a very rotund fellow whose face resembles a pizza pie. I'd say it's a fairly rude caricature The Godfather (described him in pic #1 refer back to that if needed) is talking to Mario the Clown. The Villains wiki describes his appearance as: "Mario is a short man with sickly green skin that wears red clown attire with orange shoes and an orange cap. His face has sunken-in eyes and big cheeks with red circles on them." They didn't mention it but he swings around on spiderwebs or something like Spider-Man, he's doing it in this picture The Godfather is kissing his minion clown Mario

The joke is that the downplaying in this case is absurd. Comparing lifespans points out how dumb it is to turn charitable acts into a competition."

65 years ago today "The Flintstones" first aired on TV and since then we've had constant revisionism like this. Fred was a terrible friend to Barney, constantly assaulting him and stealing both physical goods and intellectual properties from him
