Dunno why but when the Child started asking “difficult” questions I was expecting stuff like “where do babies come from?” and “what’s your favourite dinosaur?” Instead he’s been asking stuff like “where’s Dad?”(while I’m right beside him) “why is earth our planet?”, “why is Mars Mars?”

Hate the idea that a centrist approach is always the "reasonable", common sense position. Dismissing issues that matter to vulnerable people or allowing a certain amount of harm or bigotry towards any group that isn't your own isn't a neutral position, that's a choice, and one that hinders progress.

We often hear people who own second or third homes on daytime radio and prime time debates lamenting how difficult life is as a landlord in Ireland. Why do we even hear these people out? We wouldn’t give airtime to people who gambled on other kinds of investments. Weird entitlement to profit/gains
