My question is, if you know you did something wrong, do you feel guilty if you were let off the hook of punishment? The next question would be then who pays for their wrong deeds? I have so many questions

Face the Nation: Would you support it to see the release of these [Epstein files] documents?

Sen. Shaheen: Absolutely...The American people need to see what's in them. If President Trump says there's nothing there...then why doesn't he support release of the documents?

Amazon announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.

UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.

Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

We are the only people legislative into illiteracy at the pain of death, dismemberment and mutilation. And we learned to read anyway. Taught others. And when freedom came, the literate and illiterate built schools and universities. #HBCUs
On this day in 1830, North Carolina passed laws that criminalized teaching enslaved Black people to read and that made the repeated dissemination of anti-slavery pamphlets punishable by death.

Unfortunately, the shutdown didn't do what we really needed it to do. Someone is always a loser in times like these. We are the Someone! What do you think will happen if and when we get beef from Argentina or some other foreign country. I can't even fathom the idea.

This 14-year-old girl hands Megyn Kelly her ass for her utterly disgusting minimization of child sexual abuse.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

Every major company can and should pay a fair and living wage. No one who is working a full time job should have to get a 2nd or 3rd job just to pay rent, and utilities or to buy food for themselves or their family.
How about instead of selling "bearista" cups, Starbucks bargains a fair contract with its unionized baristas? No contract. No coffee. Don't cross the picket line. Solidarity with @sbworkersunited.org
Starbucks' outrageous CEO-to-worker pay gap might make you spit out your morning coffee. And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?
