After having been ill with the flu since December, and getting complication after complication, I seem to finally be recovering! My GP checked me out, just in case, and he thinks my cough and throat pain are just some residue damage that needs to heal. Finally! 🥳

Sorry for not having posted since Yule. I got a really nasty viral illness, that my body was not fighting properly. Had 2 ambulance visits, an antibiotics course, a resulting severe sinus infection that was stubbornly sticking around... But I'm finally recovering.

Left my Mom's place after she basically said: LOL I can't live with you. I am now in an apartment a friend graciously opened up for me. But before I could move in I spent some time with old friends @issha.bsky.social and @designy.bsky.social! They are both geeky streamers and were wonderful company!

As a child, I used to hang on to everything that had a holo effect on it. You know, that rainbow effect? It was so stimmy...! Now I have adult money. Do I have whole rolls of holo paper? Maybe... 😏😌

I've been to Düsseldorf in Germany for a midweek, with my sibling, to see the Christmas market (Weihnachtsmarkt). That was quite an endeavor with all our disabilities! We went a midweek, so we could see the market in little bits. That was a good choice, as we needed that time. We also went by 1/2

I'm so surprised at how much able-bodied people can get done in 90 minutes!
But the next day she got ill (I'm so glad I distanced and didn't shake hands), so she can't clean on Thursday, and they don't think there's a replacement available. Oh well. 1/2

I've been away from this app for a while, but I'm back. In the meanwhile I got 3 extra diagnoses, and got approved for housekeeping. Housekeeping will start upcoming Tuesday. I'm so relieved! This is incredibly necessary.
