“So you just went in and boom?” Apparently some people are confused about shopping in stores instead of online.

I went to the grocery store for a single item needed for a recipe and only got that one thing. Please clap.

#WIPWednesday I’m knitting up a linen cami. Since I accidentally cast on too many stitches at the front, it became a ruffle. 🧶

After getting fooled by a couple of AI cooking blogs, I discovered this old-fangled concept called a cookbook. Banana blueberry muffins.

Swatched new-to-me yarn. I’m thinking a tank top? Linen just ages so well. ~1.5 cakes

Attempting my first refashion and realizing I might hate polyester. Yes, it’s flowy but it then flows frikin’ everywhere. 🪡

Happy Shark Awareness Day!

I want people to be aware of 5 things:

1 Sharks are awesome

2 Sharks are not a threat to your safety

3 Sharks are ecologically important

4 Sharks are highly threatened

5 We can still save them- but it matters what we do, don’t reinvent the wheel, follow experts!

Wanting to make a “quick skirt” for an event on Saturday, I’ve gotten stuck on deciding between shorter and swishy or longer and less swish. #Sewing friends, thoughts?

Weirdest complement to date: someone was driving with their spouse and saw me walking. They pulled over to ask if I would go back and walk past the last few houses again for them to photograph because my dog and I looked iconic.

My current Work In Progress: knitting a sleeveless shell improvised top-down because I don’t know how far the yarn will go. I cast off when I run out of yarn. Hope to wear it to a local event on the 12th. 🧶 #WIPWednesday

Anyone else watching the US House right now? They didn’t like the way the vote was going so R leadership told the rest of them to walk out mid-vote. This 5 minute vote has now lasted an hour. #politics
