I love them all. I think House of Day, House of Night (newly reissued by Fitzcarraldo, translated by Antonia Lloyd-Jones) was my favourite (don’t make the recipes!) but I also really enjoyed Primeval & Other Times and The Empusium. I’d probably recommend not starting with The Books of Jacob

I hadn't thought of that! 😆I'm just having a spectacularly unproductive week and I wanted to make myself accountable to something, somehow. I did manage to get some stuff done yesterday, though, so maybe it worked...!
