Last week, I decided to suspend all upcoming US travel including the 2026 ASSA in Philly (was looking forward to seeing old friends again) and a seminar talk. I find the US to be an amazing place, personally and professionally, but the risk of arbitrary detention is not worth it.

The FY25 CR obliterates the already small funding allocations for the development of new treatments for patients with pancreatic cancer, lung cancer and glioblastoma.... for what purpose?

These are three of the deadliest types of cancer.
