At @fightingdirty.bsky.social, we sued over this issue, and lost on the grounds that the Environment Agency couldn't be in breach because the government had issued no direction. An absurdity, which means that poisons continue to be spread on farmland every day. 🧵

As an atheist I'm delighted that the new Pope favours the continuity of Francis. I'm gladdened that his will represent real Christianity and stand up for the poor, the oppressed and our planet. May he be blessed by his God. He'll need it.

My answer? I imagine the stunning transformations over short periods and the huge potential across the UK - it's exciting!
