An Ecosocialist and Just Transition -
Redistributing wealth and in turn carbon/consumption, to lift living standards, while taxing fossil fuels companies and using the funds to rapidly onboard community-based, renewable microgrids. Putting power back in the hands of communities and creating a more resilient power grid.
Anti-Carceralism -
Reducing funding for prisons, police and police militarization. And using that money to provide [drug, mental health, youth, housing] services and reduce poverty. Decreasing the criminogenic factors underpinning crime.
Decolonization -
Strengthening state-based Land Rights laws and removing "national interest" carve-outs to repatriate Indigenous lands. Just watched this movie #SequenceBreak. For a super low-budget flick this was extremely effective visually and special FX wise.
Very Cronenbergesque, specifically thinking of Existenz but with arcade games instead of consoles. Lots of gooey, pulsing, organ like machinery.

Not sure about Gaelic but in Aussie Rules you can't throw the ball (free kick if you do) you need to hand pass (holding ball in one hand and punching it with the other) but you can hand pass in any direction.

Garlic has like a soccer net, if you get in there it's 3pts but it also has goal posts above the net if you get it through them it's 1pt.

Yeah, you can run with the ball but you need to bounce it ever couple of steps [which is a skill cause the ball is oval] unlike Gaelic or it's free kick to the other team.
We have 4 poles, if you kick it between the middle 2 it's a goal (6pts) if you kick between the one either side it's a point.

Spent the arvo out supporting the Adelaide Sudanese community in their calls to boycott the UAE and send the RSF to ICC
Mostly, they just want people to stop being silent and to talk about what's happening in Sudan, with the same intensity as Palestine.

Anyway, glad that's done. Took 5 and half hours all up but now don't have to worry about 5k fines under the Electoral Act.
