Want your game to be loved? Hire real human artists, voice actors and programmers.

Want your game to be hated? Use AI for everything.

You know what the correct option is.

For graphic novels, especially adult genre fiction, it's incredibly helpful to review it online, talk about it, recommend it to a friend—adult fiction in the graphic novel space is difficult to place, and nothing convinces readers that they'll like a book more than the personal testimonial.
If you like an author's work, the best thing you can do is buy it. The second best thing you can do is ask your local library to buy it. Or, do both!
A reminder that the median book deal for a debut author in the UK is £7000, paid over 12-18 months. (from 2022 Society of Authors report). Some of your favourite writers are struggling. societyofauthors.org/2022/12/06/a....

Yep, pretty much. Even in the face of quantifiable evidence to the contrary.

This is (one reason) why I’m against generative AI, period. Instead of being able to inherently look at any type of media with joy or trust, I now always have to be vigilant about its authenticity and ethics. Every video, every doodle, every photograph is suspicious. It’s exhausting.
Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

A common misstep I see when people criticize generative AI is saying things like "that doesn't even look that good" or "look at all the little hiccups"

All those comments say is "AI needs to be improved", and chances are? it will be

Your hangup should instead be the total lack of human involvement

Isn't it so weird to deeply know in your bones something obvious with no equivocation, for years and years, and then to one day see articles about people wondering if maybe the incredibly obvious thing you've known this whole time might be happening, as if the media is discovering it now??

Beware if your still on twitter of some "share art post", not sure if many real artist know this but A.I bros are now doing it.
I have a feeling it's to find other A.I "artist" or to scrap peoples work. Either way be carful, also don't bully. Just block them or report.

The bubble is going to burst and we're seeing serious consequences as companies are going to lose more money than actually making more of it

It's obvious, but these "AI bros and CEOs" don't really care about the creators or art in general. They just want to generate soulless garbage that is damaging to the future of artists and the world.

They want to build more AI data centers to use more power and no one wants that.
