Honestly Vance is immaterial. Trump picked him bc he knows Vance doesn’t stand a shot in hell of being his successor. Some of Trumps donors might back Vance but MAGA itself would eat him alive.

For American Jews as a whole, we have the most to fear from right wing antisemitism, followed by left wing antisemitism, with Muslim antisemitism being a distant 3rd (how distant will vary depending on the area of the country but it is well behind the political right and left wings).

Umm you need to take a couple of stats classes to understand sampling and generalizations. Because what you stated is not at all universally true or generalizable amongst Jews. Here in the PNW for example Muslims are some of our strongest allies in combating antisemitism.

You do understand impeachment involves more than someone writing up articles of impeachment right? The Speaker then has to allow a vote and that vote has to get a majority. Only then is the president impeached.

But he won’t BE impeached in the current political climate. So it’s a waste of time. The articles would never even see the light of day on the house floor. If we had a Dem majority or a GOP caucus with a spine it’d be a different story but we don’t.

I like the part where he complains about “misrepresentation of facts”. I’m assuming that someone else typed that bc a) I doubt he could spell “misrepresentation” and b) the irony of him typing those words would be so great it would create some kind of rip in the fabric of space time.

What is truly shocking is that a candidate won who was back by Sinn Fein. This would have been unthinkable 20 years ago. Hell even 10 years ago it likely wouldn’t have happened as most Irish still gave Sinn Fein the side eye. This shows a lot of progress in terms of domestic politics in Ireland.
