My amazing sis-in-law (who doesn't sew) thought up this bag, sourced the fabric, had her friend design the logo, her husband converted it, then spent an hour at the library learning how to use the embroidery machine (the lesson was fully in German as she lives there now), then made this for me! 🥲🥰🇮🇪

My partner is out shopping, I'm wrapping the gifts we have on-hand, I'm doing laundry, and I'm cooking dinner. Am I doing more? I don't think so. I want no part of outside, crowds, or the general energy out there. Also, I have hot cider & bourbon. And old Mike Holmes episodes.

My partner laughed at a woman's review about his new dresser bc she said it took her 8 hours to build it. Friends, it took me 5.5 hours. No drinks involved. But it was something to do as I watched terrible college football playoff games.

He just called me and he took the remaining crew to the 4am bar near us. It's 11:40pm. His card is behind the bar. I'm taking bets.
He's still not home. I'm taking an edible -- I can't deal with however he comes home as a sober person. Gonna meet him where he's at 😅
It's 10:30pm and my partner has been out eating and drinking with his team for 9 hours. It's a Tuesday. They have an in-office day tmw w/ a dept-wide lunch. He is 37 so he thinks he can still hang and be the "cool" manager. I can't wait for his alarm to go off in the morning 😅

I know it's not normal to text with / call / get dinner with when you're in each other's towns / tailgate with / invite your former profs to your big life moments... but I love mine! And this is such a huge selling point as an adult now when I tell young women to go to my alma mater
