To use the one statutory temporary escape clause in the TikTok law, Trump will need to inform Congress basically that a non-Chinese buyer of TikTok has come forward. But China & ByteDance have made clear they won't sell. I.e Trump would be lying. So will his lying ways extend to Congress as Pres?
