Read a few comics as a kid, but the bug didn’t kick in until avoiding studying for college finals—& there was the spinner rack. Eventually burned out by X-Men crossovers and New 52. Dipped a toe in again a few years ago and am feeling the joy again! 🏳️🌈
The first time I encountered the White Queen in comics was probably Uncanny X-Men #180, which led into the Hellions story in New Mutants. That was a terrific storyline!

We finally watched Thunderbolts* last night, and it did not disappoint.
The drawback was that it was essentially Black Widow 2, and my husband hadn’t watched BW. Had to fill him in a bit. He mentioned that the post-defeat convo of Yelena & Alexei would probably have hit better had he seen it...
