"Ball X Pit" is a pretty good game, but whoever on the dev team came up with the phrase "voluptuous egg sac" needs a wellness check.

It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

In a sane country, it would be statistically impossible for anyone to have been present at two different school shootings. In an only very fucked up country, having it happen would be the occasion for sweeping change. The USA is a failed state.

The appeal of Bill Maher baffles me. He's who I picture when I try to imagine a D&D character with a 3 in Charisma.

Who cares? The Roman Catholic church has been out of step with ordinary relationships for literal centuries.

I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

Seeing a lot of takes about how Mamdani's win doesn't mean other left candidates should do what he did because it won't necessarily work for them.

As opposed to how well chasing the centre-right vote has historically worked? I dunno, man, I think it's worth a pop.

Just my opinion, but we don't actually need a new term for "breaking the law".
By proceeding with the demolition of the White House East Wing before seeking approval from federal agencies for a new ballroom, President Donald Trump forced the issue. It's a strategy known as "stake-driving."
How Trump Demolished the White House East Wing
By putting the demolition of the East Wing before the necessary approvals for his ballroom, President Donald Trump borrowed a tactic known as “stake-driving” to force an outcome.

I've seen a lot of complaints about the season finale to "Peacemaker", but I thought it was great in a wholly unexpected way. The series has been graphic, bloody violence, explicit sex scenes, and dialog so well-peppered with vulgar language that it would earn an "R" rating all by itself (1/2)

I've been playing around a bit with the new remaster of #FinalFantsyTactics. I appreciate the attempt to "subtly" cast doubt on the heroism of the Knight "Delita" by having him slug a non-combatant Princess with a mailed fist to shut her up during a kidnapping. So ambiguous!

If I controlled an animation studio- any animation studio- I would jump both feet forth. Alas- for good or bd- I do not.
Genndy Tartakovsky shared test footage from his film ‘The Black Knight’. It follows a knight who controls a 20ft suit of armor. Sony isn't sure there's an audience for the film and haven’t greenlit it yet.

After Kpop demon hunters success I don't understand why Sony are dragging their feet on this!

And an additional thought: when the 24th has passed and no Rapture has occurred, will Joshua Mhlakela admit he was imagining the whole vision thing?

Every time some nutjob...er, excuse me, "preacher"...asserts that "the Rapture" or some other version of the Apocalypse is coming real soon now, I check to see how high the number of failed predictions during my lifetime has gotten on Wikipedia. I'm 57 years old, and we're up to 25 now. (1/2)
