Hi! Most posts will be photos from my past travels. I might not post each day...been in recovery from several injuries since Jan 2024, and sometimes pain management takes precedence. Hope to be fit enough to travel again soon, to see wonderful places and have new experiences to share. Thanks. 😎

Incredibly sad news about Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele. Devastating for their remaining family. 😢

Rob was responsible for some of my favourite films. Tonight, I will be watching The Princess Bride and Stand By Me in memory.

...I'm in the UK, so I don't get CBS, but if I did, I'd cancel that too.

I've been a bit absent. With continuing recovery, then ignoring the injuries and overdoing things at several gigs...it's been a time. I've had a time. Then I paid for it. 🤣
Totally worth it. This was one of the gigs. I adore this band so much. We all miss the departed Rev. D Wayne but... What a gig.

Etymology of the day: to be ‘blowing a hoolie’ (or ‘hooley’) was probably inspired by the Orkney word ‘hoolan’, a howling gale, with a touch of the ‘hooley’ that is a very noisy party thrown in.

Backstory: my lovely, thoughtful colleague found the vegan chilli miso soup I'd been looking for. Then, because I can't say the word "soup" without doing a Julie Walters impression, she did this brilliant sketch, attached it to the soup & left it on my desk.
