I'll be honest, these days I'm pretty wary of cheap from amazon, but could be worth a try. Someone else mentioned Kokuyo too I'll have to look into them

I'm unfamiliar with all of those brands, looks like I've got lots of options to look into!

This one does seem smarter than the others. I may well be teaching it to improvise, adapt, and overcome

My solution: cut a hole in a frisbee and stick it on top of the feeder so there’s enough barrier the squirrel can’t reach. And if it sits on the frisbee to try and hang from that, the spring mechanism engages and closes the feeder. I want to see it try. For science 🪶. 3/3

It hangs by its back feet from the same pole the feeder is hanging from, stretches aaaall the way out, and can then reach the open feeder. Until it loses its grip and falls, but then it just grabs the feeder, climbs back onto the pole, and repeats until full (or the feeder is empty) 2/3

Just keep ratcheting up the taxes on them until they make good on their promise. Win win!

We probably shouldn’t be “good” again until there have been at least three consecutive administrations that aren’t batshit fucking insane. And even then you all should look at us suspiciously
