Apparently Khaman knew that Rubio had done this before Duke’s final four game. Can you imagine playing a tough game with this hanging over your head?

Republicans in Congress can repeal every tariff tomorrow and take Trump’s tariff authority away from him. But they choose not to. So every Republican in Congress owns EVERY SINGLE BIT of this. You can’t hide from the voters forever.

Take all the momentum from this weekend and turn it into actions throughout the week!
Here’s how to stay in the fight:

📱 Use the 5 Calls app or Resist Bot to contact your elected officials daily.

🎤 Demand town halls. Show up at their public appearances.

🚫 Boycott evil corporations.

🗣️ Talk to your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.

🌳 Build community power.

Much of the cardboard and paper goods strewn about our homes are sold by a single private company, with its name, Uline, stamped on the bottom.

Few Americans know that a multibillion-dollar fortune made on those ubiquitous products fuels far-right candidates across the country.

(Published 2022)
That Cardboard Box in Your Home Is Fueling Election Denial
A previously unreported boom in profits for the shipping supply giant Uline has provided the funds for a deeply conservative Midwestern family to bankroll anti-democracy causes around the country.

By moving to the “center,” Democrats have failed to fight the forces that led us to Trump: widening inequality and the unchecked power of billionaires.

There's no "center" anymore between a takeover of the government by oligarchs and true freedom.

Dems need to learn this.

The fight going on in the Democratic Party right now is not between hard left, left and moderate. It’s between those who want to fight and those who want to cave. And Team Fight stretches across all ideological aspects of the Party. Misread this at your own peril.

Millionaires stop paying into Social Security today.

That’s because they've now made $176,100, and hit the contributions cap.

Billionaires made that much about an hour into the year.

Elon Musk did in just 15 minutes.

Tax the rich. Scrap the cap.

Tillis has been fully invited to his own town hall. We called, emailed his staffers directly and I'll be hand delivering an invitation next week to his Raleigh office. If he doesn't show to his own town hall, it's because he's scared of us!

There is no "center" between decency and indecency, between democracy and authoritarianism, between a government of billionaires and a government of the people.

If Democrats move to "the center", they will pave the way for the next Trump.
The Failures of “Centrism”
By moving to the so-called “center,” Democrats have failed to fight the forces that led us to Donald Trump: widening inequality, economic insecurity, and the unchecked political power of corporations and the rich. Watch.

This year, many stood beside her and defeated four anti-trans bills.

This is the power of standing up for your beliefs and for what's right, and good trouble.

National Democrats, take notice.

Creating a big tent is fine, great even. But that tent has to have a pole, a backbone, a set of values it believes in and policies it supports, otherwise it simply caves in and is no kind of shelter, gathering place or party at all.

I sure would like to know who has been buying the dips right before Trump announces he has changed his mind and reverses a tariff. Seems like valuable information in the markets to know when he announces a tariff and when he’s going to rescind it.

Good trouble. Ask for that from your Member of Congress.
The idea that a political party must do more dramatic things in response to defeat is not new to the social media age. New bio of John Lewis describes his approach to Newt Gingrich et al taking the House in 1994.

Lewis applied Civil Rights era lessons and a willingness to burst norms to hurt Newt.
