Unless either the girl or the princess' surnames were also Gai, that was a bit of a lying episode title.

Me: Ah, I know how this goes, for the rest of the show Radiguet will have a conflict between his monster and human sides, with the girl his amnesiac self loved eventually winning his better nature round.

Radiguet: *just kills the girl*

Though it's a shame the new bad bitch didn't make it to a third episode, all the other villains ganging up on her was nicely satisfying.

Even by Toku location disconnect standards, the team being in the docks one second and then getting knocked sideways into the quarry is a bit much.

Incredibly, I'm more convinced of the love between the amnesiac disguised villain and the dying girl that's had two scenes than anything with Kaori.

Inoue amnesia plot? In this economy?

I gather there's still a lot of denial about their actions during the war even today in Japan (as there is in Britain over the Empire), so doing Hitler Clone just a couple of decades later feels like it could wind up the sort of thing people write papers about.

Next time... it's the one thing everyone remembers X for. Now, we're definitely allowed to stereotype Nazis, but this could go lots of places.
November 18, 2025 at 1:24 PM
Ha, yesterday I was wondering if Jetman was heading for a swimsuit episode, then X produced one instead.

It's not too salacious though (thankfully, I think the girls are still teens?), and plot relevant by giving Keisuke a way of seeing the back of a young boy without it being weird.

Lupin beetle and his "Did that old man do anything to you, kids?" questioning is coming over as the reasonable one in all this.
November 18, 2025 at 1:15 PM
Kamen Rider X: Ah, so you drugged and stripped those kids to hid the plan!

The old man: ... sure

Took a second to realise the old man luring small boys into his house, drugging abd stripping them to paint maps that'll get them killed on them is in fact not a villain.

Lupin based characters are usually good fun in Toku, so I'm looking forward to him.

And we're allowed to stereotype the the French.

Me when Scorpion Geronimo flies off at the end and it looks like he's going to be reccuring.

Oh God, it's actually worse than I thought it could be, the speaking lead villain isn't Native American in human form, but his non speaking easily killed goons are.

Honestly can't tell from the quality and lack of closeups if it's makeup or someone vaguely ethnically right, but still naff.
November 18, 2025 at 12:54 PM
More positively, that's a cool location I don't recognise from anything else.
November 18, 2025 at 12:51 PM
Thankfully they've also not tried to make his human form Native American, because that would totally have been brownface.
November 18, 2025 at 12:47 PM
The nicest thing I can say about Scorpion Geronimo is at least it doesn't sound like he's doing the stock "Indian" voice (though it may be the Japanese equivalent from dubbed Westerns?).
