This is a bad take from an MP from my home town. Governments are supposed to exist for the public good, not to turn a profit. They aren't and should not be corporations, nor run like one.
Wayne Long, newly-minted secretary of state for Canada Revenue Agency, tells reporters in Ottawa today:

"I think we're going to see our government run like a corporation, which I think is long overdue."

This is such a damn cool thing Ken did here, folks. Some genuine pay-it-forward action within a niche creator space.
All right, folks. It's time to reveal who won the Bannerless Games Tabletop RPG Grant.

I mentioned before: I got *290* applicants, so I bumped the pool up from 5 x $250 to include 5 x $100 and 5 x $50 as well.

Drumroll please... 👇

Does anyone in the wide worlds of sports or comics know what a symbol that looks like this, in silver, on a blue shirt, also with a Marvel logo on it, would be for? We are stumped.

It's interesting to me, and kind of a bummer, that both PAST LIVES and BARBIE were nominated for best picture, but both had their lead actresses and their (women) directors left off.
No Best Director nod for Greta Gerwig, no Best Actress for Margot Robbie

Unbelievable

Or believable, because I saw Barbie and this is basically what the movie is about

I don't much care about Oscar nominations, but I am tickled to see Nimona nominated for Best Animated. That is very neat.

Made the onion burgers from the George Motz burger book last night, they were great so I had another one for lunch today with the last of the beef. Super basic and really delicious.

If you made a movie with the same retro timeframe as "Dazed and Confused" in 2024, the movie would be set in 2007.

I am forever seeking out the perfect survival/craft PC game. 7 Days to Die is reeeeeally close, mechanics-wise, but I don't love the zombie wasteland setting. And my ideal game would have more NPCs and more aspects that you could grab onto for single player sessions.

I'm so old that I don't know anything about the September muppet. Is that a trait of the September muppet?
Happy to be a November / Cookie Monster birthday boy, instead of getting one of the loser muppets.
