Raised in Wisconsin, 20+ year Philadelphian. Philosophy, math, cats, computery stuff, squid, I dunno, weird animals in general,
We got rid of all her radiators a few years ago, but one of the heat pump vents under a kitchen counter is an acceptable substitute. Bonus: you never know when a human will drop something edible! (Everything is edible as far as Zelda is concerned)

I felt obliged to show that I do in fact wash the stovetop regularly

If you are under the delusion of thinking your cat is never on the counters, I recommend getting a glass stovetop

Zelda is fulfilling her main purpose, grass seed dispersal (also mosquito feeding, mostly by making her human stand around while she hides in the ornamental grasses and waits for chipmunks)

I am truly grateful for mass transit, but I have to say I've been at more inviting bus stops

Some of the birds in our yard have a lot of nerve. They make a big racket about a harnessed cat outside, and then fly around with a worm they just caught!

Zelda insisted on going out for a salad for lunch

Arsonists may be right. Recent experiences in the basement are proof of spiders in the house

Zelda the cat has continued multimedia work, but isn't very creative about titles. Behold "Mouse on Scouring Pad on Rug". It shows more mature use of materials but perhaps less grandiose flair than earlier works such as "Badly Torn Bag of Rice"

Zelda supplies an answer to the eternal question "why are you wet?"

When I was in college, we tried to reproduce the central figure's moves from the (probable) companion painting the Peasant Dance, by crossing one's right knee behind the left knee and hopping. It was very difficult
