Now that Square Enix has the publishing rights to this game, it's finally being put on sale! I still have Dragon Quest 7-10 to get through before I play this but I couldn't help but pounce on it

Now that I've fully absorbed everything:
1) The Console - I wanted $400, but if $450 means a 120hz screen I can accept that. Looks sleek and upgraded in every way. Good. Stuff like Elden Ring and Cyberpunk looked a little rough but I'm probably not gonna play those types of games for a long while.

Real sorry about this, but my editing rig has been met with some catastrophic problems re: the power supply, motherboard, and possibly videocard. I'm looking at nearly 2 grand to get this thing fixed.

Ten episodes into Dragon Ball Daima, I'm pretty confident it won't fall into the same pitfalls as GT did early on, or at least not to the same level. I've realized Adventure-style Dragon Ball just won't hit the same heights for me, but I've still been enjoying myself.

I'm about six hours into Dragon Quest VI, and I'm really enjoying it. This is the black sheep of the series? I'm still on guard however, I'm about to get a ship and some DQ games just take a nosedive in direction once you can travel nearly anywhere.

I've been struggling to find things to talk about. Mostly what's piqued my interest is the lore drop of the week, but even that kinda ends at "Oh ok." The slow pace is so odd, I still enjoy the show but we're 7 episodes in and I still feel like I'm waiting for the moment the show finally pops off.
Nobody on my feed here talking about Daima this morning, it must have been really forgettable
