Absolutely LOVED Damien Mc Carthy's Caveat. I don't know how it's escaped me this long, but im glad that it found me.

Time for Draft 6 of Loved by a Dead Girl. Drafts 1-5 found the heart of the story and dynamics between characters. However, I had a dream with the cast of characters aged up and able to deal with the themes in a more interesting way. I hope that this cracks the story!

I hate when I read one of my scripts, and I think it's great. Now I have to share it with others who might tell that it's not great?? And if they do like it, I have to learn how to take a compliment?!?

Just caught myself worrying that an important three page scene in ACT 3 needed to be cut to save pages.

Working on my Horror-Comedy Ghouls Night Out.
Paraphrasing here, but the last few reader's notes said that I should punch up the horror because "I'm so funny that people forget to be scared."
OK it wasn't that exactly but a whole week focusing on making monsters scarier? Hell yeah.

I am a bad John Carpenter fan because I just watched Assault on Precinct 13 for the first time.
That is the definition of an 8/10 movie and was so beautifully eerie. It did feel like a companion piece to Night of the Living Dead in the best ways.

I am a bad John Carpenter fan because I just watched Assault on Precinct 13 for the first time.
That is the definition of an 8/10 movie and was so beautifully eerie. It did feel like a companion piece to Night of the Living Dead in the best ways.

Remembering the great #RogerCorman on his birthday. Corman was a visionary writer, director and producer with hundreds of credits to his name. He helped many iconic filmmakers, including @galeannehurd.bsky.social , get their start in the industry. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
