Our friends at @ydnc.bsky.social & @ncdemocrats.bsky.social have been hard at work the last 6 months fighting to protect North Carolinians' votes.

The kind of leadership we've seen in NC is exactly what YDA needs—which is why we're so excited to have Dorian Palmer on our slate for YDA's DNC Rep!
Read my statement on today's victory for North Carolina voters. Today, we won.

GOOD NEWS: The Senate just blocked a GOP bill to ban trans kids from playing sports with their friends at school.

This bill was so extreme it could have opened up any girl—trans or cisgender—to invasive physical inspections.

We're grateful to our Senate allies who voted "No"!

Remember, the President doesn’t get to decide who you are—that’s all up to you.

And you’re exactly who you should be.

Last night, Trump demonized the LGBTQI+ community with lie after lie about lifesaving medical care, trans servicemembers, foreign aid funding, & more.

We see through his lies.
Americans see through his lies.
The world sees through his lies.

And we're standing up for truth.

While bird flu wreaks havoc on our farms & drives up prices for Americans, Trump's Department of Health is launching a campaign against trans people.

Trump will stop at nothing to attack trans people—even if it means diverting critical resources to a campaign of hate.

GOOD NEWS: A federal judge just temporarily blocked part of Trump's EOs that tried to ban trans people under 19 from accessing medically-necessary & lifesaving care!

Let’s keep the government OUT of Americans’ private, medical decisions.

Because of Donald Trump's crusade against LGBTQI+ people & other minorities, federal agencies have scrubbed their websites of information about gender, sex, and other topics the White House thinks should be off-limits to the American people.

This is censorship, full stop.

On his first day, President Trump prioritized attacking the LGBTQI+ community over solutions to any of the real problems facing American families.

Trump would rather use the powers of the Oval Office to attack trans people instead of solving even a single real problem facing American families.

Is anyone surprised?

It only took 12 days into the 119th Congress for Republicans to pass a bill that could force kids to face medical inspection or answer humiliating questions about their body—to adults they dont know—in order to "prove" their gender.

Leave kids alone, you freaks.
ICYMI: Extremists in Congress are at it again, trying to ban trans women and girls from playing school sports. Tomorrow, they’ll hold a vote on HR 28—and we MUST stop this latest attempt to demonize trans youth.
The “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act” Reinforces Sexism and Abuse in Sports
In addition to blatantly discriminating against trans, nonbinary, and intersex students, sports bans are a gateway into policing how we all look and act.

It's official: Congressional Republicans haven't passed a single appropriations bill that became law in their 2 years of controlling the US House.

Just been CR after CR after CR.

What a pathetic excuse for a political party.

ive been saying we need to expand the cap for a long time. glad its finally getting talked about more!

right now, 1 member of the house represents 747,000+ people, up almost triple from the 1:210,000 in 1910.

this + abolishing the electoral college 🥰

republicans scream about "protecting women" but won't do anything about their colleague who's been accused of r*ping a child or the adjudicated r*pist they just elected president

they only seem to care about "protecting women" when they get a chance to attack trans people
November 21, 2024 at 3:15 AM
While Republicans in Congress are screaming and obsessing over what bathroom trans people use, Democrats are there fighting to lower the cost of healthcare, relieve student debt, and support working Americans.

Both parties' priorities couldn't be any clearer.

Rep-elect McBride stands with young people, and young people stand with her.
Nancy Mace's resolution is a pathetic attempt to try and distract from their inability to govern by singling out 1 duly-elected Representative in 435.

It's also weird to claim Democrats are "obsessed" with trans people when she's the one tweeting about them 20+ times in <1 day.
