Lost my job at a company I loved recently. I have a new job lined up but I’m still so sad about the last place. Why do we make where we work such a big part of our identity? Also how shitty is it to just be cut off from a bunch of work friends like a dead tree limb.

Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990.
One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.
