I think all reasonable people can agree that in a civilized society it is simply wrong to randomly torch or vandalize a Tesla unless it is a CyberTruck because fuck those guys.
New: Despite Musk and Trump claiming the vandalism of Tesla cars and facilities is respectively "coordinated" and terrorism funded by powerful leftists, law enforcement officials and extremism experts say there is no coordination. It's organic.
No evidence of coordinated vandalism of Teslas despite Musk and Trump claims
The attacks have come as Musk has emerged as one of the brightest flashpoints of an already tumultuous second Trump administration.

I wonder if @adamsmith.house.gov is getting the same sort of crowds for his Blame the Left Tour?
Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

So... in a future of abundance, if I wanted Musk dead, I could literally have that? Hmm.
Elon Musk held an "all hands" with Tesla employees and live-streamed it on X tonight. “What’s the most exciting future that you could possibly imagine?" he asked. “A future of abundance for all…. The future we’re headed for is one where you could literally just have anything you want...

There are only three type of people in the world—the type who see Musk give a full on Nazi salute and:

1) think it’s awful

2) think it’s terrific

3) are the type of stupid fucking lying assholes who deny that it’s a Nazi salute

Speaking of remote work, did you know that Danny is a hermit who hasn't stepped foot outside his Madrona house since August of 2018?

Sad, yes. But it helps explain how totally fucking out of touch his columns are.
An entire piece from Danny Westneat about the negative impact of remote work on Seattle's downtown commercial core without a single mention of reviving downtowns by building more residential housing there.

Mixed-use/mixed-income downtowns are the most vibrant and resilient. Period.
Seattle, the remote work capital of the US, is in denial about its effects
New census figures show that Seattle is the remote work capital of America. But we aren't acting like it in our efforts to save downtown.
