Old lady that kinda hates social media. Why am I here again?

Oh yeah, I dream of creating content some day, and this is apparently part of it...

Read this if you want to understand why every trans person is freaking out about OH. These restrictions would put control of our lives and bodies in the hands of a political movement that doesn't think a trans life is worth living at all.

The Ohio governor’s not going to ban gender-affirming care for minors—he’s just going to make it impossible.

This has been on my mind a lot lately. This murderer is using the trans panic defense and yet 'hate crime' is still up for debate like it isn't cut and dry. My state may be a trans refuge state, but that doesn't protect us from violent bigotry.

I'll remember you, Savannah.

I'm so sorry...

How are companies dealing with climate change?
Mostly buying carbon offsets that force others to take climate catastrophe seriously while they continue to generate CO2.
Looks a lot like tightening control over the imperial periphery disguised as climate action.
It's liberal slop. Don't eat it.
"As African countries line up to cash in on the global carbon offset market, concern is growing that the multimillion-dollar deals to keep their forests intact could threaten the land rights and way of life of people who live there"

Even self enlisted soldiers commonly aim above fellow humans.
No one innately wants war. We have to believe it's necessary or see its benefits. So of course the beneficiaries have to convince the rest of us it's necessary.
I fell for this in my youth, and I still live with the consequences
if supporting war was so natural, they wouldn't spend so much money & effort manipulating us
opposing war is good and normal

To all my MN neighbors who were involved in this and the many protests against genocide we've had across the cities and state:

Thank you so much. I'm horrified, but your actions have given me hope and some much needed faith in humanity
Also this morning in Minnesota, anonymous groups dropped flyers and banners in the rotunda of the Mall of America demanding targeted boycotts of brands complicit with Israeli apartheid and the military occupation of Palestine.
