I’m kind of terrified today, for different reasons, but I’m trying to focus on how we have had four extra years with him. I hope we have many more. He is the sweetest dog in the entire world and I’m so glad he’s still here.

He recovered so well. I’ll never forget how he tried to run to me when we came to pick him up a few days later (for obvious reasons we could not let him do that). Then I had to carry him around for months after.

Election Day 2020 I was desperately driving my sweet boy Kermit to emergency surgery. He had completely lost the use of his back legs due to intervertebral disc disease. (Spoiler, he’s fine!)
