This family did every single thing they’ve been asked to in order to seek asylum here.

For those outside the Twin Cities, the person posting this GoFundMe is a member of Minneapolis city council (and among the many locals doing absolutely heroic resistance to ICE), so it's legit.
Please help us bring Liam Adrian Cornejo Ramos (he’s only 5 years of age and is currently in pre-K. Yesterday, he and his father were kidnapped by ICE. This will help the family with legal services to help reunite Liam and his dad with their family.

I suspect ICE came down on Minneapolis because they thought it would be easy to provoke rioting there & declare martial law.
That has not proved to be the case.
ICE is further escalating now as a last ditch effort to incite civil unrest.
Hang on, Minneapolis.

I'm just spitballing here, but I bet people in Minneapolis would be nicer to ICE agents if the ICE agents would stop harassing, assaulting, kidnapping, and murdering their neighbors.
