I can't get over how good Metroid Prime 4 looks. I'm pretty sure it's all in the lighting. If you look real close at the textures, they don't look very impressive. But man the lighting sells it so much.

Side quest over! Hunters is actually kind of cool. I can't believe Retro tried to make this work on a DS. Playing this with mouse and keyboard - It kind of feels like Quake weirdly enough! To the enemy encounters, arena design - and the music has some real Doom vibes in places.

One of my fav game dev stories ever: For the 10 MINUTE Qwark Opera level in Secret Agent Clank, the devs had forgotten to ask Jim Ward to prep for singing.
When he found out, he said "huh, hold on" & sang the entire thing in nearly A SINGLE TAKE.

Jim Ward, the voice of Doug Dimmadome, Chet Ubetcha, Captain Qwark and more, has sadly passed away at the age of 66, his radio colleague Stephanie Miller confirms.
