I've been reading this great book, over the course of a month: "Football for a Buck: The Crazy Rise and Crazier Demise of the USFL" by Jeff Pearlman
The old USFL would've been dead anyway, but Donnie just moved up the execution date. Also, one quote in an excerpt, sounds awfully familiar.
