Today’s big indie dev moment: my game is actually playable on my phone!

Still needs UI anchoring and the title screen’s too big, and yes, I filmed it with another phone (it’s chaotic indie energy, ok?).
But this is a real milestone. Couldn’t be more excited.

🔴 Red robot exits the goal early (whoops)
🔵 Blue bot takes over... but it’s trapped! A key puzzle piece was missed.

I wasted days tweaking yellow in GIMP, Photoshop, Paint.NET—even online tools. Still off.
Then it hit me. The answer wasn’t in an image editor…
It was in my shader. 🤯
The yellow robot is finally done!

Took a step back to leap forward — Level 3 just got a polish pass:
• Fixed robot animations
• New "cleared" animation
• SFX added
• Camera panning feels so much better now

Just pushed a new build with:
✅ Splash screen working
✅ Puzzle level running in mobile resolution

Still plenty to clean up, but it finally feels like I’m testing an actual mobile game instead of a prototype.

Seeing my studio logo fade in on the splash screen for the first time got me a little misty-eyed.

Unity logo’s there too. Resolution is... close enough.

Still a lot of work ahead, but this is one of those “it’s actually happening” moments.

Working on the first version of the main menu

It’s basic, unpolished, and probably won’t win any design awards.

But it’s functional, doesn’t explode, and feels like the start of something that might not make players cry.

Robot vanishing at the exit: ✅

For once, everything worked like it was actually coded on purpose.
It's amazing how much better a puzzle game feels when the camera stops acting like it’s on a lunch break.
