Just to be clear, I'm not complaining at all, I blacked out after he said it three times and the surgery was a success, but it was hard for me not to crack a joke at the anesthesiologist about gaslighting. :)

I really don't know what to do with my gay space tragedy novel either. I stopped writing a prequel and resumed a grounded sci-fi project because it feels these may find an audience outside the escapism-coddled traditional sci-fi crowd.
