Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Had a thought combing my wet hair in the mirror yesterday that I had turned into Riff Raff from Rocky Horror, but unfortunately he's pulling off a fit in a way I never could. Kind of a rizz god tbh. And yes I checked and Richard O'Brien was two years younger than me in that film.

playing FFVIII is filling me with such a memory of the pre Spirits Within fervor that they should "just make a whole movie out of these cutscenes". when you see the boats go across the moon reflection or Quistis lay out a full clip into a robot spider, it's kind of impossible to deny the feeling.
