@thenexusofprivacy @Jerry to be clear they don't just undercount Misskey, they don't count Misskey (and probably all the forks) at all because those platforms simply do not report the active user figures.

Overall, this is what the history of web tracking on government websites looks like over the past 29 years. A few countries have backed off somewhat on tracking visitors to their websites, but overall, the trend is towards increased tracking.

@lari Uudenlaisuus liittyy jutun mukaan ilmeisesti tuohon syksyllä luotuun rangaistusmekanismiin ja siihen että nyt on painetta sen vaatimuksesta antaa edes jotain sanktiota. Kyllähän Hesarikin tossa viittaa siihen että tämä on vain "viimeisin" noin muuten.

@MastodonEngineering please prioritise the existing work being done to backfill previously unseen profiles with actual posts. Just seeing profiles without posts is a huge issue with the current UX.
