I mentioned elsewhere about how the books Alice in Wonderland and Matilda had a lot to say about the hypocrisy of children having to behave while adults and authority figures get away with being rude and cruel. I'm glad I outgrew my worse traits, but it doesn't make the world I grew into any less...
