A big misconception about Greenland is that since it’s labeled a Danish colony, its residents are just a bunch of white dudes named Kristian—which is extremely harmful and inaccurate.

The population is 85% Indigenous! It belongs to the Kalaallit people, not to Denmark and CERTAINLY not to the U.S.

We need to stop measuring what people report would make them want to vote, and specifically vote for Democrats. We need to figure out what would induce people to engage in ongoing civil resistance of a strategic variety to topple the pillars that maintain autocracy.

The BDS movement, welcomes the news of a ceasefire agreement with immense relief.

A ceasefire, however, is only the most important first step to end the genocide against the 2.3 million Palestinians in the illegally occupied and besieged Gaza Strip.

The killing of a CEO shows that an act of violence can be potent propaganda. In anarchist history, the debate over the “propaganda of the deed” provides necessary insights into the power and limits of direct attacks. I wrote about this for @prismreports.bsky.social. prismreports.org/2024/12/10/p...

Octavia Butler couldn’t see the future. She saw what was happening in front of her and, in addition to studying the past, was able to imagine where it would lead. It’s important to tell the truth about her because mythologizing her is a disservice to her legacy.
