I continue work on the foundational brush set.

On the image is the brush tip, demo stroke and 2 figure studies with the brush.

The shape gives good calligraphy and expressive range. Clean round end blocks in volume and value, the sharp fuzzy end gives fine precision, texture and edge control.

I’m pretty emotionally beat today. Just trying to once again take in the onslaught of authoritarianism and fascism this country is experiencing. The only reprieve I am offering is some images of queer people comforting each other. I hope it helps someone today.
