The biggest single problem in the US isn't Trump, it's religion.
Trump has tapped into the US populations obsession with Christianity & knows that fanatical Christians will support him as long as he panders to their extreme interpretations of what is a book of pure fantasy.

The USA just vetoed a UN vote on a ceasefire in Gaza & also to allow unrestricted humanitarian aid, a shame the US will have to live with for eternity.

1. Instead of ending the war in Ukraine Trump has emboldened Putin to the point where he can do what he likes without fear of retaliation. Trump has taken away much Ukraine's ability to defend itself & at the same time encouraged Putin with talk of lifting sanctions & even becoming trade partners.
