Isla was an angel the way she always is, though she did explain to me and to the vet tech and then the vet that we had to hurry as she was missing her set-in-stone dinner time

Vilma is usually a complete pest at the vet, and IDK if she was traumatized by being sick in Aug or what, but it was DIFFERENT. Usually she's not panicked, just very firmly using all her sharp pointy bits to protect her bodily autonomy. This time: shaking, trying to melt into the table, nary a swat.

This was really nice! Kind of like old school social media.

Alla dagisåldrade barn är lite underliga för mig (lack of exposure) men jag tror jag tar den chansen. Hellre än underlig bok än en tråkig!

I feel like I often feel like this this time of year, but this time I mean it: the rhythm dance theme is Not Ideal. We're not far enough from the nineties for it to have crystallized into 3-5 accepted cliches, so having it as a theme is just a hodgepodge. Someone used eight different songs!!

She needs to accept that because she's a pedigreed cat, there is a platonic ideal that she doesn't fully match but which has no bearing on her value as Cat.

The worried look is mostly because she's a Senja descendant btw. Happily we've left the absolute saucer eyes behind.

Forgot the ears since I have nothing negative to say :D: They're the right size and shape and in an acceptable position (even a little bit higher would be too bunny-like for me).

Body is also as it should be, high legs and elegant but still looks & feels strong.

The absolute worst (from an outside perspective) is when Isla's breeder and I visit kittens together because we both have very specific ideas of the perfect Russian Blue that only partially overlap, so the commentary is BRUTAL (my pet peeve is weak chins, hers is eye size).

*head is too narrow & nose too long. In profile the chin is strong & nose is very straight (good) but the angle between nose & forehead is weak (bad). Coat color is a very nice old-fashioned deep blue, but the texture is kind of the weakest part here, it's very flat. OK eyes & general expression.
