Woag, non-wow art that's crazy

Been slowly workin on a fun personal thing for the last few weeks, joined a Lancer campaign and ever since I picked my mech, the Enkidu, I knew I HAAAD to draw it.

A mainly teal coloured mech stands on its' digitigrade robotic legs, slightly hunched over presumably in the midst of a fight. Bright pinkish red tubes run across its' neck and back, but most importantly through its' arms, powering the menacing sickle-like plasma claws. On its' left hand, those claws have extended, revealing the whip-like plasma extensions the Enkidu is famous for. Energy sparks around these powered up parts, and smoke emits out of the ventilation holes under its' visor-like cockpit.

This is about Dragon Age, but honestly every time I've seen someone say "just wait and see, don't rush to judge" about the new Marathon that's an online PvP extraction shooter instead of a single-player game full of evocative lore and an AI that hates you, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills

Look, I'm not a fancy CEO guy, but if someone said to me "the key to this successful single-player IP's success is to make it purely a multiplayer game. No, not a spin off: fundamentally change the DNA of what people loved about the core game" to me, I'd probably, like, quit that job or something.

I come back to this often with the tale of why Battlegroup has a two-ship minimum rule baked in, because when it didn't people tried making "single hero ship" battlegroups and got bodied so hard it was turning them off from the game. I explicitly did not make this rule optional for this reason
-Minimum battlegroup construction on the player end is now at least 2 capital ships, one of which is your flagship ----While I plan on including some guidance in terms of battlegroup construction to this section, a concern that I've had which has recently been highlighted through some playtesting is new players deciding to put all 20 points into a single ship which is then immediately and gracelessly destroyed. As I've noted numerous times with regards to Lancer, the best way to design a game to discourage players from doing something you don't want them to do is to simply make them unable to do it. So it's now a hard rule, the game is called BattleGROUP not Hot BattleSINGLES In Your Area Want To Meet You, take a fuckin frigate already
