Amongst posh commuters to #Wimbledon. Overheard a man bemoaning taxation of second homes in Wales. He opined that second home owners had left the area which led to local downgrade of credit rating due to loss of local business. Yeah, but the locals can live in fucking houses again. So theres that.

They should make a film, that has Jack Black, where he's overacting everything and making that face he always makes with the voice. Maybe Vince Vaughn could have a minor role as secondary character where he sort of just doesn't care enough about the film to really put in any effort. COMEDY GOLD!

What we see in USA is not 'incompetence'.The contradictory messages coming out of whitehouse & the sheer confusion &chaos is 100% intentional. It is a technique of putinism to create such a noisy information environment, that nobody knows what's true so nobody can have an opinion. Depoliticisation.

@bsky.app the rate at which people are joining bsky suddenly jumped from 0.5 per second up to 4.9 per second. That's crazy. Anyone know why? Is it related to tariffs? I.e people wanting to discuss tariffs without Musks interference?

Brexiteers are piping up now, claiming Brexit saved us from the same tariff as the EU - but guys, that might be worth 0.4% of our GDP - Brexit cost us 4%…..get real.
We need closer ties with the EU, our progressive and very dependable neighbour.
The next four years will be a shit show...:)
