Imagine if there was a law that only allowed budget items in the budget or reconciliation bills? It should be illegal to put other pet projects and authorize changes to the actual country.

Seriously. You are obligated to know what the hell you are voting for on the ballot. If you “didn’t know” because you didn’t look it up, that’s still on you. That’s like sticking something strange in your month without finding out if it’s harmful. It’ll harm whether you knew or not.
