Leafs. Raps. Jays. Tdot bound. Unfortunately the J-E-T-S, being a fan is punishment enough. Also all things TTRPG, especially DnD and rolling those sweet sweet math rocks.

The reason Silicon Valley is so powerful and annoying is because Oakland lost their sports teams. Without raider fans acting as an apex predator the nerds became too abundant

Word of advice. Remember the Easton Cowan you've grown to like over the past 2 years without watching a single OHL game he played in.
You're not a scout. I'm not a scout. Sometimes scouts aren't even good scouts. Don't over think what this means long term. No one knows.

Wikipedia is actually a great example that:
1. Most people want to contribute to things positively, and will do so with no motivation other than being helpful.
2. You need robust processes for making sure the small number of people who want to ruin things can't.

I try to read about a wide array of subjects to try to get a better understanding of how the world works, and any time I learn about a new topic I think "Ahh, now I understand why it works that way." Except! Except finance. The more I learn about how finance works, the more absurd it seems.

There have been more articles about Bluesky being a liberal echo chamber in the past week than there were about Nazis being reinstated and boosted for the 2 years Musk has owned Twitter.

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
