On the day the conservatives commit to pushing the UK to ecological & economic suicide, the UK may have just broken its zero carbon generation record (88%), & I’m currently charging the car, doing the washing, & charging our home battery from the grid for *free*.

Making allowances for what you’ve said about your installer into account - you should have a dedicated meter measuring the output from your inverter. Possibly near your consumer unit or in your electric meter box. That should give a total of what you’ve produced since installation.

Almost everything that matters most to voters is enabled and delivered by civil servants. But all politicians want to be able to claim credit for delivery but be able to blame the CS for policy failures, so this fits.

This has been on my wall for 20 years following my first Iraq tour of many Iraq/Afghanistan tours. I regularly think about the 24th MEU USMC lads I patrolled with out of FOB Kalsu, & those who were killed while I was there.
I think it’s time for this to go in a box.
